A storytelling session in the company of a glass of wine and something more…
Jointly organised by Bruaá and CAE, and in partnership with Loja Sol Engarrafado and Restaurante Olaias, the Tintim por Tchim-Tchim event aims to be a time and space for listening and telling. An oral storytelling session for adults, to which wine and something to savour will be added, perfect complements for an evening of sharing, in which together we will weave that fabric of words and silences that makes tales powerful tools of thought that stimulate fantasy, sensitivity, memory and expression. This session will be hosted by storyteller Ana Lage.
Interior illustrator and sculptor of words… Born in 1966, Minho runs through her veins. She began her professional career as an artist as an interior illustrator. In 2006 she began continuous training as an oral storyteller at the Oeiras Library, where she is a member of the storytelling fellowship. She has been specialising in reading mediation, with training at the Oeiras a Ler Centre and a postgraduate course in Children’s Books at the Catholic University.
She is currently working on the project ‘Enredos, Enredilhos e Outros Sarilhos…’, an orality project that crosses different generations and integrates the different arts in the process of developing literacy. Ever since she began narrating, she has illustrated the interior of those who listen to her with words sculpted by time. It is in the traditional text that she finds her home, flavouring it from time to time with the author’s text. In this home, which is her repertoire, she welcomes all audiences to sessions designed to fulfil their purpose.
A session celebrating the act of telling and listening to stories, this unique and ancestral experience, constantly renewed by the complicity between listener and teller. Here’s to it.
