Mercado Municipal Engenheiro Silva
One of the objectives of the Figueira da Foz Municipality is to promote endogenous local products, namely the ‘Arroz Carolino’ produced in the Figueira da Foz Municipality.
‘Arroz Carolino’ is a product of origin, produced in different places in the municipality and with a unique identity of characteristics linked to the local territory and production method, as well as having a strong link to traditional Portuguese gastronomy.
With this in mind, on the morning of 8 March 2025, the 2nd edition of the Arroz-Doce Gastronomic Competition will be held at the Engenheiro Silva Municipal Market.

Tasting by the jury: 11.15
After the tasting, rice pudding will be distributed to the public.
