Composed by 74 masks belonging to the Kwok On collection of the Museu do Oriente, of the Fundação Oriente, exhibited in several Asian countries, namely Thailand, Japan and China, as well as in European countries, such as Portugal, France and Spain, the masks, made of very different materials and from different origins – China, Korea, India, Indonesia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Tibet – “allow us to show the performative, aesthetic and functional diversity of these objects in an Asian context”.
