The 45th edition of the Amateur Theatre Days, organized by the Lions Club of Figueira da Foz, will begin on World Theatre Day, on March 27.
The opening day will be at Quiaios Club, at 9 p.m., with the scenic group from this community presenting the play “Ai…ai…agora é que são elas”.
The closing event is scheduled for 14 May, at the Arts and Entertainment Centre, at 4pm. At 6 p.m. will be presented the play “The Student and Mr. Henrique”, with Aldo Lima, Inês Castel-Branco, Inês Sá Frias and José Pedro Gomes. This is the only paying event, with all other performances free entrance.
These events have a budget of around 3 thousand euros, supported by the municipality and other support from local companies.
This year’s edition counts with the performances of scenic groups from Quiaios Club, Sociedade Boa União Alhadense, As Personagens, Sociedade de Instrução Tavaredense, Escola de Artes do CAE/Associação Pequenas Vozes da Figueira da Foz, Natural Invenção, AVA Grupo de Teatro, Casa do Povo de Alqueidãoe Páteo das Galinhas.
