The 6th edition of the Maria Fernanda Rovira Symphony Orchestra (OMFR) Internship for Instrumentalists and Choralists is coming up from 19 to 23 July.
This year, the city that will host the Internship is Figueira da Foz, queen of fine sandy beaches 😊.
The Orchestra and Choir Internship includes students from 4 Specialised Artistic Education Schools, located in 5 Municipalities:
– David de Sousa Conservatory of Music, in Figueira da Foz and Pombal;
– Coimbra Regional Conservatory, in Coimbra;
– Caldas da Rainha Conservatory, in Caldas da Rainha and Bombarral.
In addition to the Students of the aforementioned Schools of Specialised Artistic Education, the David de Sousa Choir Group and the Inês de Castro Symphonic Choir will also join us in this edition that aims to evoke the Life, Work and Legacy of Manuel Fernandes Tomás, an unavoidable and decisive figure in the events that marked the genesis of constitutionalism in Portugal.
The Concert that will bring together about 170 people on stage will take place on July 23, at 9:30 pm, at the Centre for Arts and Shows, in Figueira da Foz.
Admission is free.
